CANCELLATIONS & DEPOSITS
A small deposit will be taken via PayPal to secure your appointment for make-overs, makeup lessons, bridal trials and beauty treatments.
A deposit of £100 will be taken via PayPal to secure a place on our pro makeup courses. The remainder must be paid 1 week before the course starts.
Cancellations for make-overs, makeup lessons and bridal trials before 7 days of the appointment will get a full refund of deposit. Cancellations of a place on our pro makeup courses before 28 days of the course beginning will get a full refund.
No shows will lose the full deposit and will need to pay the full amount to rebook.
Cancellations by Makeup Manchester for any reason, an alternative appointment date will be offered. If another appointment can’t be agreed, a full refund of deposit will be issued.
Beauty at the Studio Cancellations:
More than 24hours notice given: appointment reschedule without losing the deposit
Less than 24hrs notice: reschedule appointment but full amount of treatment needs to be paid to secure another appointment
No show: Will lose the deposit entirely and will need to pay the full amount to rebook
Cancellations for any reason after the mentioned timescales are subject to refunds or reschedule at Makeup Manchester’s discretion.
Makeup lesson vouchers are valid for 6 months. Should you require an extension, it is at the discretion of Makeup Manchester. Early booking is recommended to avoid disappointment. Saturdays are our busiest time and appointments go quickly – especially during the summer months.

We take your privacy and personal information very seriously and will handle any data we collect from you carefully, confidentially, securely and use them solely for the administration of our business.
When you visit, register or book services with us you may be asked to provide certain information about yourself including your name and contact details.
By completing and sending a booking form, you are agreeing that we may contact you via the channels you provide (phone and/or email) you always have the right to remove your data from our files. To do this simply contact us.
We do not store credit card details nor will we share any data you provide through this site with any third-party unless you authorise us to do so, or we are required to do so by law.
You may unsubscribe from our newsletter at anytime by contacting us or using the Unsubscribe link.

What we collect: Your name and email address. You may also choose to provide your telephone number, business name and address.
Any other information you voluntarily submit in your messages to us. This may be in relation to information, products and services you are requesting from us.
How we collect it: When you send us a message via our contact form, by emailing or telephoning us directly, or when you communicate with us via social media.
When signing up to our Newsletter
What we collect: Your email address.
How we collect it: By you, the client filling out the ‘Subscribe to our newsletter’ form on our website. That information is then added to our mailing database. You have the right to unsubscribe from this newsletter at any time by clicking the ‘unsubscribe button’ on the email or contacting us directly at firstname.lastname@example.org

What we collect: Any other information that we request from you or retain in relation to products and services we are providing for you. This may include your contact details; a record of the products and services we provide to you and the fees you’ve paid.
How we collect it: Communications we have with you via email, telephone or in person.
When visiting our website
What we collect: Information about your computer or device and about your visits to, and use of, this website (including your IP address, geographical location, browser type, referral source, length of visit and number of page views). This data is considered “non-identifying information”, as it does not personally identify you on its own.

a) providing you with information you are requesting from us as our client or potential client; providing you with our newsletter upon request

Information we receive may be shared with our employees and our service providers.
We may share information about you with our service providers who store or use this information solely as required to provide services to us or on our behalf. Our service providers include email, analytics tracking, our freelance makeup artists and beauticians.
Please note that we may be required to share certain information with government and law enforcement agencies to fulfil our contractual or legal obligations.
We do not otherwise share or supply personal information to third parties. We do not sell or rent your personal information to marketers or third parties.

You are entitled to access, correct and update any personal informational we hold about you, and to request this information be deleted. You are also entitled to restrict or object to our use of your data.
If you would like to exercise these rights, please contact us in writing with your request. We will respond to your requests within one calendar month.
Please note that we may be required to retain certain information to comply with a legal obligation. Additionally, where requests are manifestly unfounded or excessive, we may charge a proportionate fee and will advise you of this fee.

We work hard to protect the personal information that we hold about you and are committed to taking appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information from accidental loss, misuse, unauthorised access or disclosure, alteration and/or destruction.
Please note that, although we make every effort to protect the personal information that you provide to us, the transmission of data over the internet is not completely secure. As such, you acknowledge and accept that we cannot guarantee the security of information transmitted via our website and that any such transmission is at your own risk.

We only retain your personal information for as long as is necessary or permitted given the purposes for which it was collected.
The criteria we use to determine our retention periods includes the length of time we have an on-going relationship or contract with you to provide our services and our legal obligations regarding the information.
