CANCELLATIONS, DEPOSITS, COVID & SICKNESS

A payment upfront will be taken to secure your appointment for make-overs, makeup courses, hair courses, makeup lessons, makeup vouchers, bridal trials and beauty treatments, fees paid are non-refundable.

No shows or on the day cancellation for any bookings, will lose the full deposit and will be liable to pay the full amount of the total missed booking fee.

If your booking is postponed by Makeup Manchester due to sickness, Covid-19 infection, isolation or lockdown, then your deposit will be transferred to the next available convienient date. If you cannot make your appointment due to sickness, Covid-19 infection or isolation, you can transfer the deposit to the next available date, you can do this one time only. You will be required to send the official NHS proof of your sickness, Covid illness or isolation status.

If you cannot make the appointment due to illness (not Covid related) then your deposit will be transferred to the next available date. You can do this one time only. You will be required to show official NHS proof of sickness.

Payments for makeup lessons, bridal trials and glams are requested in full at the time of booking to avoid no-shows and last minute cancellations. We reserve the right to remove any bookings that have not been paid inadvance.

By booking any service with Makeup Manchester you are agreeing to our T&Cs and privacy policy.

We reserve the right to change our T&Cs from time to time, please look for any updated information as this may effect your booking.

Makeup Course Deposits & Cancellations:

A deposit of £100 will be taken to secure a place on our pro makeup courses. The remainder of any course fees must be paid at least two weeks before the course starts. Failure to pay the remaining fee on time will mean you lose your place and deposit.

Deposits and fees are non-refundable but can sometimes be transferred to the next course date, but only with prior agreement from Makeup Manchester. Deposits paid must be used within 6 months.

There is a £25 accreditation fee that is not included in the course prices. You are required to bring your own models to work on, or you can work on yourself.

We reserve the right to change advertised or agreed course dates if necessary or if the minimum numbers required to run the course are not met. In this case alternative dates will be offered and the deposit transferred.

If your makeup course is postponed by Makeup Manchester due to Covid-19 infection, isolation or lockdown, then your deposit will be transferred to the next available course date. If you cannot make the course due to Covid-19 infection or isolation, you can transfer the deposit to the next course, you can do this one time only. You will be required to send the official NHS proof of your Covid illness or isolation status.

If you cannot make the course due to illness then your deposit will be transferred to the next available course date. You can do this one time only. You will be required to show official NHS proof of sickness.

Bridal deposits & cancellations:

Bridal trials are paid on the day of the trial and are not deductible from the final bridal price. We recommend a trial 3-6 months before the wedding. You will be required to have another trial if you book your trial over 12 months before the wedding day.

To book your wedding date with us a £100 deposit will be taken to secure the booking. Cancellation prior to 12 months before the date will get a full refund of any deposit or payment paid, otherwise the deposit is non-refundable. The final amount is due 4 weeks before the wedding date, this is non-refundable should you cancel your wedding within the 4 weeks.

If your party requires extra artists to achieve the numbers in time, there will be an additional per artist cost, plus any travel expenses.

After the trial, in the very unlikely event that your Makeup Manchester artist could not make the day, we will offer you offer an alternative artist from our team to cover your day. If you change your wedding date and then we cannot make your new date, unfortunately your deposit will be non-refundable.

If your wedding is postponed or cancelled by you at short notice (less than 12 months) due to illness, Covid-19 infection, isolation, restriction changes your deposit will unfortunately, not be refundable.

If your wedding is postponed or cancelled due to a national lockdown and weddings aren’t allowed, then your deposit can be moved to another date. This can be done one time only. If we cannot make your new date unfortunately, your deposit will not be refundable.

If Makeup Manchester cannot make your wedding due to Covid-19 infection or isolation of your artist, we will endeavour to find a replacement for you but this is not guaranteed and we will refund your deposit.

We reserve the right to remove bookings if a deposit hasn’t been paid, even if you have had a trial. Prices quoted are based on group bookings (min one bride and three adult guests having hair and makeup), if your party down sizes the prices will change too.

Once you have paid your final payment if your numbers change unfortunately we do not offer refunds.

Makeup lessons & vouchers:

Makeup lesson vouchers are valid for 6 months and are non-refundable. Should you require an extension, you need to contact us before the expiry date, a fee of £30 will need to be paid to extend a voucher for 3 months. Early booking is recommended to avoid disappointment. Saturdays are our busiest time and appointments go very quickly all year round. No shows or cancellations on the day will render the voucher invalid.

Makeup lessons are non-spectator, please book a group lesson if you would like to bring a friend with you.

If you have booked a group lesson and you downsize for any reason, or one or more of your party can’t make the booking, unfortunately we do not offer part credits or refunds on any vouchers or bookings.

If your lesson is postponed or cancelled by you at short notice due to Covid-19 infection, isolation, restriction changes you can move your lesson once to a new date. We will require NHS proof of your Covid status.

If your lesson is postponed or cancelled due to a national lockdown and close contact aren’t allowed, then your lesson can be moved to another date. This can be done one time only. If we cannot make your new date unfortunately, your voucher will not be refundable.

If Makeup Manchester cannot make your lesson due to Covid-19 infection or isolation of your artist, we will book you in at the next possible date.

We reserve the right to remove bookings if a deposit hasn’t been paid in advance. Appointments must be taken within 6 months of payment.

Going Out Glams Deposits & Cancellations

We take payment up front to secure your booking, payments are non-refundable. In the very unlikely event that your Makeup Manchester artist could not make the day, we will offer you a full refund of deposit paid or offer an alternative artist from our team to cover your day.

If your event  is cancelled by you at short notice due to Covid-19 infection, isolation or lockdown, your deposit will not be refundable.

If Makeup Manchester cannot make your event due to Covid-19 infection, isolation or lockdown, we will endeavour to find a replacement for you but this is not guaranteed and we will refund your deposit.

We reserve the right to remove bookings if the fee hasn’t been paid in advance. Prices quoted are based on group bookings, if your party down sizes the prices will change too.

Appointments must be taken within 6 months of payment.

How we collect it: By you, the client filling out the ‘Subscribe to our newsletter’ form on our website. That information is then added to our mailing database. You have the right to unsubscribe from this newsletter at any time by clicking the ‘unsubscribe button’ on the email or contacting us directly at info@makeupmanchester.co.uk

Please note that we may be required to retain certain information to comply with a legal obligation. Additionally, where requests are manifestly unfounded or excessive, we may charge a proportionate fee and will advise you of this fee.
